Threshold
Threshold speaks to the spaces between - the liminal zones where one reality dissolves and another has yet to form. The diptych is divided at its centre by light, the two panels held in perfect tension, neither complete without the other. The mirrored triangles - one ascending, one descending - suggest the meeting of dimensions, the invisible architecture that separates this world from what lies beyond. The artist invites us to stand at the edge. Between life and afterlife. Between one choice and another. Between the self we know and the self we are becoming. The cracked white mosaic maps a surface full of history, of fracture and endurance. The neon does not fill the gap - it illuminates it, holding open the question of what crossing means. To stand at a threshold is to be suspended in pure possibility.
