The Immensity of the Universe- Explosion Series
Inspired by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, Lauren Baker's 'Immensity of the Universe' series aims to present the true vastness and immensity of the universe. These new, explosive artworks explore the Big Bang and the intriguing beauty born from destruction and chaos. The books in the series were all carefully selected and explore creation in its different forms from philosophy to mathematics. Lauren worked with special pyrotechnical specialists to physically explode the books and hand finish the artworks with grown crystals.
