WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC, ORGANISED AND PASSIONATE Social media coordinator TO WORK ALONGSIDE THE ARTIST IN A FAST PACED STUDIO.

 

This role is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to get a head start in the creative arts industry and will be required to support the artist on the creation of social media content. This role will suit someone who is fast on their feet, is practical, has a creative flair and a background in Digital Marketing and Social Media. The ideal candidate will be multi-talented, hungry to get ahead in a competitive industry and most importantly has a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Under the supervision of the Lauren Baker (Artist) and the team, you will work in a supported environment to develop the skills and knowledge of a senior Social Media Coordinator whilst: 

 

      • Creating content for all social channels including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
      • Creating and maintaining a social media strategy and schedule.
      • Designing e-newsletters.
      • Contribute to the company trading calendar (new releases, exhibitions, collabs etc.)
      • Prepare photography assets for social media and new releases.
      • Updating the website on a regular basis.
      • Creating promotional videos.
      • Taking pictures of events and artworks.
      • Researching social media ad reach and creating ads.
      • Ensure the smooth running of the studio - organising the space physically and virtually using Trello, Artlogic.
      • Give amazing customer service to clients, and partners such as galleries through regular contact and updates
      • General studio tasks.

 

 

 Essential Skills & Qualifications The individual will possess; 

 

      • A creative and artistic eye
      • Understanding of social media advertising on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
      • Willingness to learn Mailchimp, Planoly, Adobe Suite programs
      • Skills in photography and video editing
      • An understanding of the art market and keeping up to date with industry news - trends, exhibitions etc.
      • Excellent communication skills
      • An exciting portfolio showing a range of ideas with high skill levels
      • A creative and artistic eye
      • High attention to detail
      • Able to come to the table with a variety of ideas and out of the box way of thinking
      • Solutions-focused problem solving skills
      • Highly organised – able to coordinate and keep track of multiple projects
      • Excellent time management - comfortable multi-tasking, able to prioritise tasks, able to meet deadlines
      • Self-motivated – able to hit the ground running, follows instructions well and takes responsibility of their work
      • Team player – happy working with others to achieve group goals
      • Articulate – Good grasp of spelling and grammar, ability to write and speak clearly and concisely

 

 

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING TO:

  •  Salary: £9,5 per hour with potential to earn bonus
  • Hours: 25 Hours a week
