Neon Installation In The Tree, And Digital Artwork In The Foyer of Arc, Shoreditch.

The multi-disciplinary artist Lauren Baker explores symbolism, higher realms of consciousness, and communing with nature. She is inspired by the fact that trees have been around for 4.5 billion years, and asks us to imagine the knowledge and wisdom of their interconnected systems. The eye is seen as the window to the soul. In giving the tree eyes, she reminds us of their aliveness. Through her work, Lauren Baker poses the question; If we thought the trees were watching, would we be so irresponsible with the planet?
