The Totem sculptures delve into the realms of archetype, ancestral memory and surreal symbolism. Drawing inspiration from megalithic structures and indigenous totemic traditions, these vertical forms read as symbolic spines, vertebrae of intuition, wisdom and energetic transmission.
The Eros Totems draw on the symbolic language of Yoni and Lingam, they explore the dynamic tension and harmony between feminine and masculine energies. Their smooth, or marble-like finishes lend an elemental, primal quality, suggesting forms forged through pressure, desire and time.
Turquoise flows through the sculptures like a vein of life, echoing unseen connections between body, earth and emotion. As a meeting-point stone, where earth and water converge, turquoise becomes a metaphor for memory in motion, emotion as current, and desire as flow.
Inspired by the Lovers archetype, these forms embody sensuality, creativity and magnetic connection, not only between bodies, but between inner and outer worlds. The abstract feminine form carries circular breasts and an inverted triangle symbolising the Yoni, the sacred gateway of creative life force. The masculine form features an exaggerated Lingam, representing vitality, fertility and creative potential, balanced with a playful bottom that brings humour and humanity.
Like talismans, the Eros Totems invite openness, curiosity and the adventurous spirit, a celebration of connection as a vital, generative force.
