The light installation involves placing eyes within Mother Nature creating a harmonious dialogue and connection between the observer and the observed. The Trees Are Watching encapsulates a concept rooted in appreciating and acknowledging the vitality of nature. Inspired by the folk name "The Watchful Tree," attributed to the silver birch and aspen, the art aims to evoke a sense of connection to the living essence of trees.
Using a cherry picker the epic 12 metre tree is carefully wrapped with neon eyes, some even blink as you walk by.
